Remembering my Mother’s Phonograph

I could still remember the phono (abbreviation of phonograph) of my mother. I was still a child that time. My mother loves to sing and  listen to music. When my mother arrives home from our store, she immediately turns-on the phono. I can still remember, she own a lot of magnetic cartridges. I guess, they are all gone now.

Some people might still be using the old style phonographs. I read in the internet that some turntables are still produced and sold this day. The good thing is, we already have the modern phono. If you look for art usb phono plus at guitar center, you will see how it look like and how it works. It functions as an audio interface between analog and digital sources. It also transfer audio from your vinyl records to your laptop or computer.

Technology change from time to time. Thanks to our modern technology that makes our lives easier and more convenient.

If I have a camera that time, I should have some photos of my mother’s old phonograph and magnetic cartridges.
