Got Shocked with High Cellphone Bills
This is not really a good experience of mine. We made a new cellphone contract here in Germany last April of this year. The cellphone which is Nokia model 5230 has a lot of applications in it and you can also go online with it because it has wap and internet services. It also has a digital camera. I was shocked last Wednesday as I found out that my cellphone bill reached 99.10 Euros. That was really very bad and I was really mad about it. I can already buy a lot of quicktrim for that money. I was trying to think what I have done why the bill reached to that amount when in fact I still never use it for calling or even texting since I have it. Now I remember! I really don’t go online surfing using the cellphone. Sometimes when I am playing with the touch screen, I accidentally touched some applications letting you go online but I never tried once going in the internet using the cellphone. Does it means that everytime you touch those applications, you are always charge with it even you were never online? I just found a lot of small amounts in my cellphone billing and it accumulates to almost a hundred Euro amount. The lesson I learned, never ever touch those application and go online with those cellphone because everytime you do that, you will be charge for it and it cost a lot of money. I am not so sure with other cellphone companies in the US or UK. Anyway, the telephone company we have in Germany is Talkine. I guess I will never use this cellphone until the end of its contract. lol!
