Thewebjob.com, Is This Real or Another Scam?
There are a lot of means to make money online. More on that, there are a lot of money-making sites where you can really earn money. There is only one thing I can say, be very careful of what you are joining. There are also many money-making sites who are scams or frauds. I already experienced some and thanks goodness, nothing was taken out from me but my time and effort and of course the money that I should be earning. The next time you join a site, be sure that it is legitimate and it is all worth your time and effort!
This week, I guess starting Monday, I received a lot of invitations from various fellow bloggers to join this site, thewebjob.com. First, as I visited the site, I was quite skeptic about it. There are so many things I notice about the site.
First I want to share about the promises of TheWebJob.com below,
“TheWebJob.com is a new innovating job site, where you will be hired to do some task, different in type and number. and you will be paid a estimated reward for that instant in your account, after it the job poster will review the service and approve the status for your payout, then you will be paid for your http://work via western union. Money gram is also coming soon. You have to create a account with us to start and login to your member area, and do daily your jobs and you will be really great after using our service.
We guarantee you that you will earn 1500$ in your first week by simple task of 5 – 10 minute
25$ Signup Bonus !”
There are so many things I noticed about the site which made me think only once, No, I will not be joining it. Here are some of the things I noticed.
First, I checked on their WHOIS information and the site was only created on November 12, 2013. How can they say that at the very little span of time, they already have all these statistics below,
Current Active Job holders: 148,000 Employees.
Total completed of: 345,954,909 USD
Paid to members on Approval: 305,954,909 USD
Unapproved earning of members: 40,000,000 USD
Would you think, they will have all these statistics if their site is legitimate?
Second, there is no information about the address of the company. A legitimate money-making company or website always put their contact information and address on their website. Did you see any of this in Thewebjob.com?
Third, This is the first time I see a website that says “All Right Reserved – Copyright 2013 – 2015”. Of all the thousands and thousands of blogs and websites I visited since I am involved in the internet for over a decade now, this is the first time I see this. I can always see “copyright 2005-2013” or usually the current year.
Fourth, The form of payment. I am a blogger for almost a decade now. This is also the first time that I see a money-making site who pays thru “Western Union”. I just find it strange. I usually receive payment thru Paypal. How about you?
One more thing I noticed about the site is its Alexa ranking. As of now, it has the following Alexa ranking,
Global Rank
Global rank icon913,875
Rank in Nepal
Nepal Flag 967
Did you noticed the Alexa ranking of thewebjob.com in Nepal? This is the first time I experience a money making site which has a high Alexa ranking in Nepal? Why in Nepal? Probably the owner of this site is from Nepal who is scamming people especially bloggers around the world? I have no idea but again, I am truly skeptic about this. I believed India or the Philippines have lots of money- making company or site online but not in Nepal where probably English language is not even use by 1% of the population. Thanks to Google, I found the answer. What do you think? Is this site really a scam or illegitimate?
Lastly, the contact form. In a legitimate company, you usually see the address (where the company is based), the telephone number and the email address but in thewebjob.com, their address and phone number is not stated in their contact form but only the email address.
If I have to sum-up all my observations when I studied their website for some days now, I can say and therefore conclude that this site is a SCAM or not legitimate.
Well, it is all up to you to try it. Let me know if they pay you. I might probably join! If I am wrong about my findings, I am already asking for forgiveness.. now.
Anyone who has experience about this site, please don’t hesitate to share your experience by commenting. Thanks.
Thanks to all bloggers who invited me anyway!
Happy blogging and happy earning money online!
