It is TGIF again! I hope you had a great one today and will also have an enjoyable weekend. First of all, I would like to thanks all my blogger friends who keep on dropping EC in my sites. I really wanted to reciprocate but I don’t see anything but all black box. I don’t know what’s really wrong with this. I have a Mozilla Firefox browser and I already asked some friends who used the same browser and they told me that it works in their pc’s. I also asked for help in Entrecard some months before and they advised me to clear my cookies and cache but still it is not working. Any help, suggestions of clarification from the experts out there?? I would gladly appreciate it if you can give me some infos. Thanks in advance!!

My Canon Powershot was finally delivered back home today. I sent it last time for repair because all I can see are black LCD screen. Iceberg computer program is created

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (UPI) — U.S. scientists say they’ve created a computer program to help predict when icebergs will calve from ice sheets.

“The models we have do not currently have any way to figure out where the big ice sheets end and where the ice calves off to form icebergs,” said Penn State Professor Richard Alley.

The problem, he said, is the great variability involved in iceberg calving. One important variable — the one that accounts for the largest portion of when the iceberg breaks — is the rate at which ice shelves spread. When ice shelves spread, they crack because of the stresses of spreading. If they spread slowly, the cracks don’t propagate through the entire shelf and the shelf remains intact, he said. If the shelf spreads rapidly, the cracks propagate through the shelf, thereby causing calving.

“Spreading explains most of what is observed on the ice sheet,” said Alley. “However, the equations come out a little better if we include a few other things.”

The researcher determined the basic equation for ice calving is the rate of spreading, times the width of the shelf, times the thickness, times a constant. The researchers said that equation doesn’t capture the totality of variation in the ice calving process, but it does account for a large percentage of the variability.

The study appeared in the Nov. 28 issue of the journal Science.

I love to cook. I might not be the best cook but I know how to cook. I also love to buy cookbooks but sad to say I don’t usually follow what is written in the recipe book. In short, I always make my own recipe. Just today, I am thinking of what to cook since the past two days, we had been eating the same food. I want to try something new today. I went for grocery shopping yesterday in Neumarkt and I have all the stuffs and ingredients what I need for the recipe I want to cook today. I love to eat Greek food and I want to try to cook today Gyros. I hope it will be successful because I really don’t have the exact recipe for that. And for cooking I always need spices like pepper, garlic, onions, salt, sugar and a lot more. It depends on what I cook.

I was wondering as I visited a website last night. It is about cooking and they usually cook without the use of salt and sugar. In fact they have low sodium recipes which I really got interested of. I know too much sugar and salt is not really good for our health. My Mother is diabetic and has high blood pressure and some years ago I had problems with kidney trouble wherein I almost developed kidney stones. Thanks God that it was cured earlier. I really can’t imagine how food taste like without these two ingredients salt and sugar. But through the Author of No Salt No Sugar site, I was impressed how she manage to prepare food without these ingredients. I believed this is a great site for our family! Ooopps..what I also love in this site are the delicious recipes they are sharing. Thanks a lot for sharing this!! It is so terrific!! I can have again new menus in our table!! These ideas are simply great this coming Holiday season!! I hope we start to cook and eat healthy food now!!

It has been one of my greatest dreams to travel around the world. Am I a travel addict? It depends..When given the chance and the resources to do so, I would say yes I will!! More than two weeks ago, I just came back from a three weeks trip in England. It was a great experience seeing one of the most visited countries and cities around the world considering London. I had been to different places there and at the same time met some friends. Great appreciation to my friends who kindly offered accommodations in their lovely homes. Just today as I went grocery shopping, I picked again some advertisements about short trips, travel and cruises. There are always rules in driving especially here in Europe. When you go to the motorway, there are always signs in it. The entrance sign signifies that you can drive there to enter the motorway.
