Karaoke Night in Nuremberg

It’s been a long time since I did not had a night-out with friends. I mean like going out to the disco or bar-hopping. I guess the last one was the karaoke night we had in Nuremberg last February. I can remember that was a fun night with friends. We went to a karaoke bar and enjoyed singing. (more…)

There are a lot of means to make money online. More on that, there are a lot of money-making sites where you can really earn money. Great Ride for Summer Sports

PU2-503_rose_quarter.jpg.w180h165 I know that summer is over and winter is approaching soon! In fact, the nearby places are already experiencing snow at the moment. I heard it over the radio while I went grocery shopping today. One thing I can only say especially to all friends in the area, please be careful with driving. The roads can be very slippery during snow time. (more…)

Keeping Your Pets Warm During Winter

There are so many pet lovers in this planet. Many are even supporting organizations who are taking care of pets of all sorts. It is indeed a good deed saving pets and animals especially those who are getting endangered.

This winter season, pet owners especially those who own dogs and cats in their homes, would love to keep their pest warm. That is why there are these so-called pet warmers to stay your pet warm during cold winter season. (more…)

Typhoon Haiyan Hitting Philippines

Another typhoon is hitting Philippines today. I get a bit panic after reading a lot of posts in my friends’ facebook walls  praying over for Philippines.

This is not the first time  a typhoon will be hitting Philippines but so far according to the news I read online, this will be the the strongest storm on the planet so far this year that spins toward the country. (more…)

Had Fun Singing with the Ladies

November is finally here! I just noticed that the weather is getting cold right now. Heater is one during this cold autumn season. We were lucky yesterday because the weather was friendly. It was not so cold and the sun was shining.

My October was ending great. There was a Halloween gathering last night and I believed the girls had fun again. Dinner was great! I guess the best part was the karaoke singing. (more…)

Family guide to moving interstate

Moving interstate with children and a family household is significantly different than simply moving a few blocks across town, even across state. Preparing for an interstate move often involves more detail and complexities than more limited moves.

Tips and considerations for moving interstate

Moving to a different state and into a purchased home is an important step for a family. Unless it is possible to visit the new location beforehand to do some research to find the right house, or to retain a real estate agent to act as a proxy for doing that, it may be worth considering renting a home or apartment before buying. Particularly when children are involved, it is vital to find the right neighborhood that is as safe as possible, convenient to schools and playgrounds, and suits the needs of the entire family. Disney world: The best tourist attraction in the world

Disney World, or the Walt Disney World Resort as it is now officially known, is the most visited attraction in the world, averaging 52.5 million visitors annually. Spread over more than 30,000 acres, it comprises no less than 24 themed resorts, four theme parks, and two water parks – Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach – and several additional entertainment areas. To children and adults alike, it is a place of magic, and a visit there is often the dream of a lifetime.

Taken in Disneyland, California during our visit  last 2008. Wish to visit Disney World in the my next USA vacation.

The park’s history

Disney World opened its gates for the first time in 1971 in Lake Buena Vista, near Orlando in Florida. Walt Disney had actually started work on the idea of a supplement to California’s Disneyland back in the 1960s, but died in 1966 before construction could begin. The building of the resort complex required lengthy planning, as it entailed the formation of a special city district, with immunity from county or state land-use laws. (more…)

Interior design ideas for a warmer home this winter

In the depths of winter it’s wonderful to be able to come back to a warm home, but that warmth isn’t just there for comfort—it’s also essential for good health. Children, elderly and disabled people are particularly vulnerable to the cold but anyone can suffer from it, becoming tired, stiff and more vulnerable to infections. Investing in improvements to keep the home warmer is an investment in everybody who lives there, and what’s more, it’s a great chance to give the place a makeover.

The basics

Before starting on more complex aspects of decor, it’s a good idea to go over the basics of insulating the house. Double and triple glazing is a good bet but it is of course expensive. Many smaller, less costly changes can have a big impact. Cracks in window and doorframes can be caulked and weather-stripped. Gaps between floorboards can be filled in with wood filler. Cladding can be wrapped around pipes and lofts can be insulated. Gaps under doors can be filled using door sweepers. (more…)
