Sis is graduating very soon!  She is a second courser and will graduate in April this year. She is taking Nursing and  will be the soon to be third Nurse in the family.  Her first course was Information Technology and  glad that she will make it soon to be a  nurse.

For her accomplishment, I am giving her a canon digital camera. I already sent thru  balikbayan box and will be arriving g soon next month. My sister loves taking pictures and I believed a  camera is a perfect gift for her. With this one, she can take more pictures anytime and anywhere.

I am quite proud for my three sisters who are in the medical and health field. Congratulations to all of you and God bless us all!

I was watching a documentation on television last week. It was all about yoga and how it started. The film was documented in India where Yoga said to originate. I also found this form of meditation and exercise very interesting, the reason why I bought yoga products like a DVD, a yoga mat, and pants. I already bought it some months ago but still did not had the chance to watch he DVD. I hope this early spring, I can already start this physical, mental, and spiritual disciplines through yoga. I am quite excited!

I was scanning my laptop last night with Comodo antivirus.  I left it overnight so that it will be  fully scanned. Since I have a lot of files in my lappy, it took so long for the anti-virus software to scan it. When I left my lappy on, it will automatically turn-off so the scanning was not able to finish.  When  I woke-up this morning, it popped-up that  there is a trojan virus in my PC. I was quite scared when I saw that my laptop was attacked with Trojan virus. The name of the virus is TrojWare.JS.Agent.EA@291676886.  I need to install this week a good anti-virus software. Comodo is good but since it is a free anti-virus software the protection is  only limited.  We are paying every month for anti-virus but I still did not download it in my laptop. I want to do the the soonest possible time. Maybe tomorrow.

It was snowing again in our area. Thanks goodness that it already stopped this afternoon. This is the time of the year to be very careful when driving especially when there is snow on the road. It is also not good to drive on frozen and icy roads. This will cause the car to slip sometimes especially if you don’t have winter tires on. Do you have a seatbelt cutter in your car? I know hubby have one on his car but I don’t have it. I need to ask hubby to put one in my car. This is very important when emergencies happen. I believed you know what I mean about it.

This scam mail went to my inbox last month. While cleaning it today, I found out that I forgot to put it in my spam folder. I just did! First  of all, I am telling you people not to believe in  these  kind of mails, if ever you receive one in your inbox.  I don’t have any idea who this sender is named  Al-Hawshabi Karim. Would you think he will give his millions of money to someone he don’t know by person?  His letter  is so frightening using the name of God in fooling people.

I am warning you guys,  don’t be blinded with his promise to give you millions. You don’t know him and he don’t know you. I felt sorry for those people who are using the name of God in their bad deeds. Keep reading  below for you to be aware of this form of fraud emails that are proliferating in the internet. Don’t be a victim and never ever give your personal information to these people.

I was invited again with some friends to have a night-out last weekend. We drove to the next city because there were some other  friends who were also waiting for us. I thought we will find Native Instruments at musicians friend but we ended up going to a karaoke bar in that city. We had so much fun singing, dancing and talking.

There a lot of people inside the bar. It was actually full and some were already standing because there were no available tables and chairs. After some hours of staying there, we decided to go to the disco. We enjoyed dancing with the music. We love the music that they are playing and in fact we were on the dance floor for some hours too.  That was a fun and a good exercise too! Good to know that smoking is not allowed inside.

That was truly a wonderful evening and weekend as well!

Winter has its own beauty. It is also a miracle of nature.  Some weeks ago when I went grocery shopping  with a friend in the next town, I can’t avoid to take a picture of this beautiful wintery scene.  Despite being  so cold during winter season, I still admire the beauty of nature around .  I imagine myself in a winter wonderland  when I see this scene below. I am glad that I always have the chance to witness this during winter season. It is truly a dream come true because in the country where I grew up, we only have two seasons, rainy and summer.

This is such a fantastic scene for me. I love winter!

It was last year when my dear friend was looking for rack system for their car. I know someone who is working on a company who is dealing yakima racks so I recommend it to her. My friend and her family love to travel. Sometimes when they use their car for traveling in Europe, they really need a rack to store their stuffs especially when the whole family for on trips. Her problem was solved when she finally bought a new car rack.

I was watching a documentation in the television last Tuesday. The film was about Nepal and Tibet and how the people live in those countries. A father was also interviewed including his family. With the poor infrastructure and transportation system in those countries especially in the mountains, he said that his two children have to walk two and a half hours to reach the school. It means that they need around 5 hours in a day  by  just going to school.

I admired those children for their patience, hard work and effort. Can you imagine if your children or you yourselves are on the same situation?

Nowadays, we are so thankful because of the advent of computers, internet and other high-tech gadgets and equipments. The way we live now are greatly influenced with these so-called high technologies. We can already attend school at the comfort of our home. We don’t need the stress caused by traffic when driving to school.  It also require less time and effort in going to school. We can already enroll to any online degrees and courses that best fit our  wants and goals. (more…)
