This is not really a nice shot but I was so happy after going on top of the highest structure in Las Vegas. The Stratosphere tower is the best place if you want to have a great 360 degrees view of Las Vegas. That is the reason why I really wanted to go up there. I am just quite sad because the photographs that I took are not really good. I guess I need a better camera next time.

There are rides and attractions you can  experience in Stratosphere.  The 329 meters or 1,081 feet Big Shot  which is the highest thrill  ride in the world can be experienced there. The Insanity, opened in 2005, at 900 ft (270 m) is the second highest thrill ride in the world.  The Sky Jump Las Vegas and the  X Scream are also found there.

This is one thing I always do when I travel. I always buy souvenirs wherever I go. During my recent travel to San Francisco in California, USA,  I also bought some travel souvenirs. I had  some postcards, fridge magnets,  keychains,  shirts with SFO prints on it and some other more. I was trying to find some hoyo de monterrey for someone who love cigars but I did not had the chance to find it. I actually know now where I can find it, online.

That visit to San Francisco was a great one for me. I met new friends and I truly enjoyed it. I am wishing to visit it again in the future. You want to come with me? Just kidding peeps!

I bought new mattresses before I fly to the United States last August 2012. The total size of the  two mattresses is 180 cm by 400cm. I thought it will fit on our bed but it won’t. Temporarily, we just put it on top of it.  The mattresses are really good even if I only bought it in a discount store. I can sleep better without back pains anymore. Since it won’t really fit on our bed which is around 20 cm smaller, when I came back from one month trip to the US, I ended up ordering a new bed. We need a new one anyway.

I received a letter yesterday  that the company where I ordered the bed will deliver it this coming Monday. It sounds good for me. And yes, the mattresses and the bed are not too expensive. I have  both for around 600.00 Euros.

I watched before a Television program that features about rivers and lakes. I also heard that only 1% of the total water in this earth is freshwater. Can you imagine that? Human beings and other forms of life on earth need water everyday. That is why we always say, “Water is Life”, which I truly agree. Sad to say, millions of people in this world don’t have access to clean and safe drinking water.

In our modern world today, we already have equipments and machines in cleaning water. Bottled water is already common and are available for sale anywhere. For some who are currently looking for ideas on bottled water, click here for promotional water bottles.

There is only one reminder I can say. I hope everyone is responsible enough to conserve our natural resources especially water. Always remember, Don’t waste water because water is life! Cheers!

Can you imagine washing with your bare hands especially if you have a lot of household errands to do? I can’t imagine washing with my hands right now. I did it before when I was still young but since I am living now in a first world country, a must for having a washing machine is needed. It really helps and it is more convenient. While doing our laundry, we can still do some things while the machine is running.

Respect and thanks to the person or company who invented the modern washing machine. I have to find out who really invented the modern washing machine. You are genius!

There are just a lot of home improvements that we need to do. We are partially done with our patio and garage. As of the moment we are also renovating our bathroom at home. Our next project will be our kitchen and dining area. It really needs to be repaired soon. We also need some kitchen equipments and other gadgets for kitchen. A new oven is a must but not a laboratory oven. I am currently using a portable cooking plate because the one that we have is not really functioning well.

Slowly by slowly, we are making our home a more comfortable place to live in. Some more years and our debt-free home will be a better and cozy place to stay.

One wish came true before I return home to Europe. I finally made it to go to the top of the Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is also one of the reasons why I went back to Las Vegas lately. My one month trip to the United States is over but I have tons of memories, fun and priceless experiences during that trip.

I believed most of you are very familiar about the famous tower in Las Vegas. Like the Space Needle in Seattle, Washington and the Vancouver Lookup in British Columbia, Canada (I also went on top of these towers), the Stratosphere Las Vegas is a tower and the tallest structure and the tallest observation tower in Las Vegas. From there, you can have a fantastic 360 view of the city. It is also a hotel and casino.

I am still in hot Las Vegas. A friend from Bavaria told me that the weather now is getting cold in that area of Germany. I believed I prefer cold weather than hot like in Las Vegas. I guess some heaters are turn on now in our area. I checked online the weather in some cities in Bavaria and most are having temperatures from 6- 10 degree Celcius, which around 40-50 Fahrenheit.

This is one thing that shopaholic people would love when visiting Las Vegas, Nevada. Shopping in this city is truly great. You have a variety of stores, shops, outlet malls and many malls to go for your shopping escapades. Fashion Show Mall is one of the best place to go. I have been to this mall for the first time last 2008. My second visit was last Monday. We had some  window shopping  before they closed that day.  Our friend from Des Moines, Iowa want to go to some shops here but due to her size, no clothing fits to her.  That is quite sad. Since  our time was limited that night, we did not really go around Fashion Show Mall. At least I stepped on it again last Monday, Sept. 17, 2012.

Fashion Show Mall is a shopping mall located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. Fashion Show Mall is owned by the General Growth Properties Inc. With 1,888,151 sq ft (175,415.0 m2) of space, this is one of the largest enclosed malls in the world. The mall has over 250 stores, 7 anchors, an elevated stage, a fashion runway and “The Cloud.” wikipedia.

Are you familiar about TI  in Las Vegas. It actually stands for Treasure Island, a hotel in Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. There is one thing I love in this hotel. The Sirens of TI is one of the free shows I love in Las Vegas. It is a free nightly show that features singing, dancing, audio visual effects with monster beats and attractive men and women that captures the spectators especially the adult ones.

There are still a lot of free shows in Las Vegas. You can watch live bands in many hotels that really play good music. If you go to Fremont Street, you can also find many live bands performing good music. I simply love Las Vegas!
