We really don’t need to turn-on our heater because we are still on the middle of summer season. The temperature we have the past days reached until 32 degree Celsius. This is very hot for us but I believed very better that any temperature if you are out there on the desert.

I just want to say that our heater during winter is working good. In fact, we already save some bucks when we use our pellets oven. I am suggesting to hubby if using one of those electric fireplaces is cheaper that pellet oven. We are still thinking about it  after  the house is fully renovated. We are also using our electric heater sometimes.

For now, we are currently renovating our bathroom on the second floor of our little home. Little by little the place we call home will be a better and nicer one to live-in. We are happy that it is already mortgage-free.

Yepeey! I already cleaned my lappy. I did mentioned  the other day that I will clean my beloved laptop. Yes, I did it! I mean I cleaned it by wiping off the dust and dirt particularly on the screen and the keyboard.  I simply cleaned the hardware and now it look shiny and new again.

Sad to say, I  still don’t have the time to clean all my files like transferring thousands of travel photos to my external hard drives. While writing this, I am slowly transferring it and already deleting the pictures folders that I already transferred. It won’t take too long. Before  the month of August comes, I am very sure, I already accomplish this task.

I subscribed in one of the biggest stores online that sells all kinds of goods and merchandise worldwide from computers, to cameras, home appliances, clothing and many many more. Almost everyday, I am receiving special offers of their products. The other week I found hp desktops that are on sale. I am still not decided because I am thinking of a new PC or a new camera.

I always love techniques and gadgets. This is the reason why I buy sometimes especially when they are on sale. Online shopping is really  easy and convenient.

PC or Camera?  I still need to decide on this.

Hello peeps! I am quite busy with a lot of things during the past weeks. Household chores, running errands, events to be attended, online assignments, meeting with friends, partying, garden work, updating my websites plus travelling and many many more! Yes, I am truly a busy person. I just love it that way. That is why there is no dull moment in me. I would say, I never had a dull moment.

One of the most important thing that I need to do and must really do in a couple of days is to clean my laptop. There are a lot of files and photos that I need to transfer in my external hard drives. And yes, I have 4 external hard drives at the moment to make it sure that I have all my data especially my travel photos in a secure place.

I want to do the laptop clean-up as soon as I can. Have a wonderful day to all!

It was a perfect timing when we visited Karlova Vary last week. The had a celebration of the International Film Festival last from June 29 to July 7, 2012. There were a lot of tourists and locals during that time in the city because of too many street performers and shows. In front of the Mill Colonnade, there was a live band performing. It seems that the kick drum triggers are producing good music during that show. We even sat down on the banks located opposite the Mill Colonnade and along the Tepla river. We enjoyed watching the people while listening to the wonderful music of the band.

Looking  for cheap flight is very easy but sometimes if you still don’t  have  the  exact date to travel, it is  quite difficult. This is especially true if your travel is connected to an event or celebration which is still tentative. I am having the same problem now. I can travel anytime but since my sister have to wait for  her visa to the U.S., I can’t still book a flight.  Sometimes last minute flights are  quite expensive. I was searching  for cheap flights to the United States of America  since last week. The departure time will be anytime during the last week of this month, the cheapest one  I  found  online  was almost  $1,500.00.  I will see if my sponsors will take this price..Just kidding folks!

I am hoping that this trip to the U.S. will be finalized  very soon. I also hope that we can still find a very cheap return flight. Wish me luck!

I am not really an expert about cars but hubby knows a lot about it.   This is one of the advantages when  our cars have problems or there are car  parts that need to be replaced. He is doing it himself and it truly save us  some money. I can still remember when the replaced the gas spring of his Volkwagen car sometime in 2005. He just ordered the parts and did it in his brother-in-law who owns a car repair shop.  He can use all the tools and equipments  there for free.  Sometimes his s twin sister’s husband is the one who orders the parts or any  accessories that he needs for our two cars.

I can’t exactly remember how long  I haven’t using google toolbar.  I believed over half a year now. I am currently using Mozilla Firefox as my browser but since   I updated months ago its new version some months ago, google toolbar is no longer available for Firefox. I am currently using Yahoo toolbar. I love Yahoo but  google  has more stuffs like the pagerank  look-up everytime you visit a site. Besides per experience, you can search more in google   than  in yahoo.

I am thinking and actually deciding in a couple of days whether to change  my  browser. This  simply means that I will be using google  chrome once I decided to have google  toolbar intalled in my laptop. I am looking for this because as a blogger  I find more advantages using goolgle toolbar as yahoo. Good luck to me!

We finally started the renovation of our bathroom yesterday. This is one of the projects that we have been planning since two years now. Most of the jobs will be done by hubby. This is one way of saving money. Besides he  worked as a mason before. Our old bathroom on the second floor looks like a sauna inside because the walls are all made of wood including the ceiling. As hubby was dismantling it yesterday some electric wires were  exposed. He immediately put some wire covers to avoid accidents. For now, we are currently using our little bathroom which is intended for guests and visitors.

Since hubby is only working on it every weekend when he has off from work, probably it will took two months for him to finish everything. I can’t wait to see the new look of our bathroom.

Hey folks! It seems that July is here now. This month seems to be a very busy month for me with lots of travel activities during its first week. Anyway, I am back here again with some updates and it is about my job long time ago.

It is almost two decades now since I submitted my first job application at the bank. Yes, I am a banker by profession back in my home country. After graduating as Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, I decided to work in a bank. I could still remember that there was a background screening that was done with regards to my work application in one of the top tier bank in the Philippines. I did passed all the requirements and worked for almost 9 years in Equitable PCIBank now Banco de Oro, commonly known as BDO.

I had a wonderful time working in this banking and financial institution. My journey to Europe ended that job adventure.
