I have been planning to order a lens since last year for my canon DSLR camera. I finally ordered it in amazon.com. I found it cheaper than buying it here in Europe. I found one online in a local shopping website in Germany but for a lens alone, the cheapest I can find is around 250.00 Euros. If you have the patience to bid in ebay.com or amazon, probably you can also find a cheaper ones. Sad to say, I don’t have such patience for bidding online. I am very happy and contented with what I ordered. My next project this coming Easter season will be a camera sling bag and an Adobe Photoshop Elements 10.

We are currently having a beautiful sunny winter day! Even though the sun is shining outside brightly, the temperature is still below sub-zero but not really negative 10 degree Celsius like what we have last week. The snow are still not melting. It seems that the freezing cold Siberian High or Siberian Winter is slowly going away very soon. I heard over the radio news that the temperature will be milder this coming Tuesday. That is quite a good news. I hope that you are having a wonderful day today. Yes, I will later because I will be meeting some friends again and maybe new friends to be.

one beautiful sunny winter day while we were walking in our little town. We l don’t have snow last month of January 2012. I want to go walking today but already promised a friend to go with her for a little friends get together.

I remember wearing uniforms during high school and college days. Our uniform at Notre Dame Girls high school was a green jumper skirt paired with white short-sleeved blouse and black shoes. During college days, we were wearing a white and green checkered skirt and a white short-sleeved blouse. I have a lot of wonderful memories during my school days. I can still recall some until now. When I worked in one of the top banks in the Philippines, we were also wearing nice and clean uniforms. My sister who is working as a nurse in the U.S. has a lot of Cherokee uniforms. She always change it everyday and she can choose what color she want.

One advantage of wearing uniform is that you don’t need to worry what you wear for a certain day or week when you go to work or school. Second, you don’t need a lot of clothes when you wear uniforms, thus also saving money for always buying new ones. Lastly, it is less stressful because you don’t need to think what to wear the next day again. These are only some of the advantages of wearing uniforms.

How are you peeps? I hope you are all doing fine especially to all my friends around the world. I am doing good so far and I am quite happy and contented at the moment. I am quite busy for the past days with a lot of things to do both online and offline.

Anyway, back to main topic..I have been window shopping for another external hard drive online. I need another extra one for my files and photos. This is one of my projects during the first quarter of the year 2012. I guess I am getting a 2 terabyte this time. I am just waiting for a perfect timing to find one which is on sale. I am monitoring this from time to time. Hopefully before I fly to Madrid, Spain next month, I can already order another external hard drive. I am already eyeing one in internet. This is the advantage of online shopping because you can just look at any items at the comfort of your home without driving somewhere especially when it is very cold outside.

The last day of the month was quite a busy day for me. That is also the reason why I just logged-in online tonight. There are just a lot of plans and projects for this year. Despite some trials at the end of the year 2011, we are still standing up hoping to face everything. There are some good news for the past weeks and we are very glad and thankful about it. It is also time to continue little by little our projects. There are a lot of things that are lining-up. We need to fix our bathroom. We need a new kitchen. The dining floor need to be changed and we are planning to have laminate floors on it. Our garage/terrace still need some walls and tiles for its floor. We need a new oven. The storage at the back of our house needs to be totally fixed. What else? We are hoping to slowly start some of these projects when spring comes. Lastly we also need more budgeting and savings to make these plans turn to reality.

A tiny revolutionary fold-up car designed in Spain’s Basque country as the answer to urban stress and pollution was unveiled Tuesday before hitting European cities in 2013.

The “Hiriko,” the Basque word for “urban,” is an electric two-seater with no doors whose motor is located in the wheels and which folds up like a child’s collapsible buggy, or stroller, for easy parking.

Dreamt up by Boston’s MIT-Media lab, the concept was developed by a consortium of seven small Basque firms under the name Hiriko Driving Mobility, with a prototype unveiled by European Commission president Jose Manuel Barroso.

Sounds like a song but sometimes girls just wanna have fun! Spending time with friends going out to a disco, attending a party or just simply having a get-together is always a fun experience. I remember when I went out with good friends last autumn 2011. We went to a disco in Fun Park Regensburg. The place is cool, jolly disco music, modern dj equipment and the sound system was awesome. I love watching people with different reactions and dancing styles on the floor. What is going to a disco or bar twice or thrice a year! and yes, girls just wanna have fun sometimes and I love it!

Like facebook, friendster was once a social network that I really like. It’s been a long time since I haven’t visited this site. During my last sign-in in my account sometimes in September or October 2011, I noticed that it is already totally different. I can’t even see the many photos that I uploaded in their websites. I don’t know what happened to it. My profile picture was also gone. Friendster was once where I can communicate with my friends and family around the world. Since most people now are using facebook (imagine around 800 millions of users worldwide!), a lot of social networking sites like friendster, myspace, netlog and many others are becoming unpopular.

I am quite happy now seeing, meeting and communicating with friends, family and acquaintances in Facebook. Besides it is free of use. Lastly, when I visited friendster website lately, I found out that it is already a gaming site. sad to say, I don’t have much time playing games in the internet. Goodbye Friendster! Hello facebook and twitter!

There is a chaos again in my pc room. Travel books, paper cut-outs, pens, postcards are scattered around. I hope to fix and arrange everething before weekend comes. I also have another problem. One of the switch covers is broken. Someone need to fix this or else it can cause injuries when not repaired. I found some good wood switch covers online and would love to show it to hubby. I hope he can secure one of these to replace the broken switch cover. I also need another shelf for my books. This room need to be repaired anyway. For now, I will just see to it that all my stuffs here are arrange all the time. See you later folks. I will be out to meet some friends for awhile.

I was surprised as I read this messages on top of Wikipedia’s site. It says that, “Please note: in less than 8 hours, the English Wikipedia will be blacked out globally to protest SOPA and PIPA”. This simply means that starting January 18, 2012, Wikipedia in English will be unavailable for 24 hours. I believed a lot of people especially the students and even myself will be very sad about this. I love this site and it is like my encyclopedia.
