I have been browsing online since last week because I am searching for cheap lens for my Canon DSLR camera. I just need one before I will go for a spring trip next month. Ms Canon T2I has currently has a 18-55 mm lens and I wanted a tele zoom lens for it. I also ended up looking for digital cameras because my handy one is not anymore functioning good. I always have one with me in my bag for daily use. I only use my SLR camera when I go somewhere for a trip. I already found some affordable lenses online and will finally decide for it next week. Who knows, I can still find the cheapest ones in a couple of days.

Good morning folks! Another sunny Monday morning is here! It is always nice to see the sun shining everyday. It makes me happy and it seems that it is recharging my body from the last freezing cold winter.

One thing that only make me sad today is my yahoo mail. I don’t know why I have difficulty sometimes in opening my mails. After I opened it and want to forward some emails in my other email account, I also can’t do it. It says, ” Please specify at least one recipient in the To: field”. This is weird because I even put two email address in the To: field. Oh well, life must go on. I will try it later again if it will work.

Prayers to all the victims of tsunami and earthquake in Japan.

This is one of the projects we need to do this year. That is, when we have an extra budget because we will also be building a new two-car garage and a terrace. If there will be extra money for these projects, we really need a bedroom make-over. There are just things and furniture that we need to replace in our bedroom. I need new futon covers,a carpet, side tables for our bed and if possible I really wanted new good bed. I already told hubby about this and he also agreed with it. For now, the first on the list are the garage and terrace. It is just so difficult without having a car garage especially during winter time. Slowly by slowly, we are doing some home improvements and renovations which we really needed. Hubby said this will be a ten-year project.

I had fun shopping with friends last Tuesday in Schwandorf. We went to a big supermarket named Globus. I felt like being in a Walmart store in the United States because this store is really huge. I seldom go shopping here because it is quite far from where we live. The store has everything what you need from grocery items to kitchen utensils, men and women’s clothing, garden stuffs, butcher, electronics, etcetera! I got some stuffs which I am gathering for my balikbayan box.

I am happy to hear that a member of our family is three-months pregnant now. We were quite surprised as she announced to us her pregnancy. Hubby was also very happy about that news. I am thinking of buying her some maternity dresses as presents. I am quite excited how she looks with such kind of dresses because it will be the first time that I will be seeing her wearing such attire. I can see the happiness in her face the last time she visited us. She will become a full woman soon. Being a Mother is always the fulfillment of being a woman. I am also happy to know that she already stopped her smoking habit. Congratulations Miss D! Take care of your pregnancy.

I was so scared this morning while seeing the news on German television about the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. I was more scared when I heard that nearby countries like Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan, Papua New Guinea, China will also be affected by the said catastrophe. While taking my lunch, I also heard over the radio that around 20 countries will also be affected by the said calamity.

I immediately called my family in the Philippines and told them about it. Since our house in the Philippines is very near the sea, my sister said that there are already big waves on the ocean and they can feel the tremor especially when the big waves hit the seaside.

Condolence to the families from Japan who had lost their loveones from the said natural calamity. I am also offering my prayers for the safety and comfort of all the people in Japan and all neighboring countries who are also affected by the said disaster.

What a very busy weekend we had today. The chaos in the house is still now over. I hope to finish it this coming week. We had been changing and moving some furniture today. I only need to put back and arrange the stuffs inside the new closet.

While eating dinner tonight, I also found out that we received a new shopping catalog for spring season. As usual, you can find everything in this catalog from children, men and womens sandals to clothing, accessories, shoes, etcetera. You can also find any house and home furniture ,decors, garden sets, computers, appliances, electronics and gadgets and a lot more.

I realized that I have to give a break from shopping now. I already have everything I need in my day to day living. Besides, I need to save money for my spring vacation to Monaco and France. I am quite excited about it. It was a very tiring day for me but I am quite happy about it. Thanks to hubby for all the help.
