2008, 2009 and 2010, these are the years when I visited the most famous and biggest festival in the world, the Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany. I want to let you know that this year’s celebration will start from September 17 to October 3. Don’t forget to book your flights and hotels earlier. If you will be late, it might cost you more money.
Here are some images taken from 2010 Oktoberfest celebration.

this was taken as we rode the Ferris wheel in the Oktoberfest.

I took this image in one of the biggest beer tents..see how many people were inside here…..thousands of them!

I am making a list of my top 3 cities to visit in Australia. It is the smallest continent in the world. I foresee that one day, I will be visiting this part of the globe. Here they are;
Sydney
When I think and see images of Sydney Opera House, it always reminds me of Sydney itself. I believed this is one of the famous landmark of Sydney. This city is the largest and most populous city in Australia and the state capital of New South Wales. It is also a multi-cultural city because you can find here people from different parts of the globe. Some interesting sights I wish to visit includes the Bondi beach, the University of Sydney, Parramatta and the Martin Place.
Adelaide
Before I fly to this city, I would make it sure that I will browse for cheap adelaide hotels. For sure, I can find a lot online. Adelaide is the fifth largest city in Australia. It is the capital and most populous city of the state of South Australia. It is known as the “City of Churches”, the reason why I found it very interesting to visit. I have to find out next time what are the interesting churches to see here.
Brisbane
It is the capital in the Australian state of Queensland. Brisbanite sounds to be a beautiful name. That’s how a resident in Brisbane is commonly called. I found a lot of wonderful sights to see here. To mentione a few are, the South Bank Parklands, Story Bridge, Chinatown, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Customs House and its most famous landmark, the Brisbane’s City Hall.

I am very impressed with this technology. The delevopment of cellphones, also known as mobile phones, cellular phones and sometimes spelled as celfon has truly changed the way of communication by people. Imagine wherever or whenever you are in the every corner of the world, as long as there is a signal, you can make and receive a call from anywhere. Sometimes if the signal is poor, there is this so-called wilson cellular booster which is designed to boost your cell signal. Don’t you know that weak signal can be caused by some reasons like poor cell tower location coverage, electrical interference, concrete wall construction and other factors. Don’t you know that the the first handheld mobile phone was demonstrated by Dr. Martin Cooper of Motorola in 1973, using a handset weighing 2 kg. Thanks to wikipedia for this information and respect to Dr. Cooper for this technological invention.

Hosni Mubarak has stepped down as the president of Egypt, handing control of the country to the armed forces. Mubarak stepped down after eighteen days of mass protests across the country.
“In these difficult circumstances that the country is passing through, President Hosni Mubarak has decided to leave the position of the presidency. He has commissioned the armed forces council to direct the issues of the state,” said the vice president of Egypt, Omar Suleiman. Both houses of parliament and the cabinet are expected to be suspended following Mubarak’s resignation the BBC reports, quoting Al-Arabiya.
In response to the resignation, Nobel Peace laureate Mohamed ElBaradei stated that “This is the greatest day of my life. The country has been liberated.”
Mubarak had been Egypt’s president for nearly 30 years.

I am just trying to reminisce my vacation in my home country, Philippines. It is a year now since I did spent an almost three months vacation there. One of the things that came to my mind were the blackouts. Yes, it happens all the time until now. I believed getting one of the yamaha generators to keep the power and electric functioning is not a bad idea. We will probably get one if we will permanently live in this beautiful island of Cebu. Hubby really wanted to retire in this place.
Here is an image taken in our window. I miss seeing this beautiful scenery every morning. I also miss my family and friends in this side of the world. I miss you all and hope to see you next time!

Another TGIF is coming tomorrow. In fact the last TGIF for the month of January. I guess you know what it means. I will be accompanying a friend who will be having an appointment for a car service tomorrow in Regensburg. I will see if we can go for a bit window shopping. I would love to especially look for Tom Ford Sunglasses. I guess this is quite a good present this coming valentines day. If I cannot find that brand, I will be ending up looking for another present. What do you think is a good gift for a good husband? It is getting late now. I am also a bit sleepy. I will for sure give you more updates tomorrow. Goodnight everyone!
