There are always special gifts we can give to every special occasion. There are also unique presents we can give especially to our loveones. This afternoon as we drove to the nearest town to take care of some errands, I found this VHS book at the bank. It is a book where a certain school offers different courses from computers to accounting, fitness, languages, cooking and many more. While browsing the book, I found this page that says, “Gift Voucher for a VHS Course”. I believed it is a good gift idea. Special presents such as retirement gifts for nurses or term insurance, time deposit or a savings passbook are also very unique gifts. I already have one of those gifts and thanks to hubby for giving one.

How’s your day? I hope you all had a wonderful one. I had quite a good one except for two things. I was calling home this afternoon but everytime I dial the numbers of my two sisters, I can hear a different voice and language. I dialled three different cellphone numbers but the it was the same woman who answered the calls. I was only calling for update about my parents and the whole family and to ask about marine binoculars. Sad to say, all my calls were not answered today. I don’t exactly know what happened but this is the firts time that I experienced this. I also checked if the numbers I dialled were correct and they were exactly right. I decided to send them emails and messages through internet.I hope to have a contact with my family soon back home.

How I wish somebody will transfer millions of dollars in my account so that all financial problems will be solved. Sad to say, this is only a scam in the internet. This is a fraud email and you must not believe in it when you receive one in your inbox. Below is the sample of this spam mail. Beware if you happen to receive one in your inbox. We stopped-by at the flea market in the next city the other weekend. We were on our way that time to a certain car shop where hubby wanted to window shop for cars. It seems that most of the things being sold in the flea market are so expensive. We took a round in the whole huge building called Jurahalle in Neumarkt where the market is held but most of the stuffs I asked are just so overpriced. What I found very cheap are the German cookbooks. I bought five of them hoping to also found new recipes that are low in carbohydrates and calories. I believed eating low -carb food is better than taking hydroxycut. This kind of food will also avoid you from gaining more weight. Hubby and I decided to avoid meat, fatty food and sweets this time. We believed that it is good for our health. One of the cookbooks that I bought are more on low-carbs and calories. I believed I had a great deal with my new cookbooks and I am happy about it.

Hubby has been searching for a new car since last December 2010. The registration of his 18 years old VW or Volkswagen car will be ending next month. It is too old and when he will let it fix, it cost a lot of money. It cannot also pass the inspection because there are a lot of parts in the car that needs to be repaired. In fact, he is giving away this old Volkswagen. In Germany, when somebody will throw his old car, there are junk shops who will take it but you have to pay for the service. It probably cost more or less 200.00 Euros. He is trying to find junk shops nearby who will take the car for free.

Since last month, hubby has been searching for cars in the internet. We also did some car window shopping the past weeks. Good to know he found one in the internet last week. We drove near Munich last Thursday and as the Auto dealer agreed with our bargain, we picked it up immediately last Saturday. It cost some fortune but at least hubby is very happy. Hubby is very contented with his new toy. I told him that he just need to reward himself sometimes especially for all the hard work he had done in his life. Congrats to dear hubby for his new toy.

Surprised! Is somebody on diet today? I hope she will! We already arrived late in the afternoon after going to hubby’s doctor’s appointment today. I don’t have enough time to cook and I decided to prepare a vegetable salad. If this is like this everyday, I guess I don’t need diet pills to get rid of my extra pounds. I was also telling hubby that starting today, veggies salad will already be a part of our meal. He loved the salad that I prepared for dinner. He said that as much as possible, we will already avoid eating a lot of meat. I told him that it is fine with me but when I go to a party, I will for sure try everything on the table. Such a bad habit again. I hope I can control my eating habit. I am trying!

According to Reuters, at least 443 are dead after massive flooding and mudslides in Brazil, after heavy rain in the rocky in the Serrana region. msnbc.com has reported that the death toll stands at almost 500. The area, located north of Rio de Janeiro, received 10 inches of rain (a month’s worth) in 24 hours.

The Folha de São Paulo publication stated it was the worst natural disaster to impact Brazil in about forty years. During a 5 mile hike for supplies, local resident Vania Ramos said, “I don’t even have the words to describe what I’ve seen.” According to the Civil Defense agency, in excess of 13,500 people have become homeless due to the recent events.

Debris from destroyed houses is littered across the area; more rain and mudslides are expected. Brazilian president Dilma Rousseff flew over the area by helicopter. To the region, the country’s health ministry is sending seven thousand kilograms of medication. Teresopolis area mayor Jorge Mario said, “It’s like an earthquake struck some areas.”

It seems that I need to take a break from online now. My sights are getting blurry and my head is getting heavy at the moment. It was quite a long day after some errands we did today. Before I do that, let me share first what I saw this morning on the television. While I was preparing myself, I turned on the TV. While searching for a program, I found out that a channel that features exercise and aerobics every 9:00 in the morning. Have you heard about hoodia gordonii? This is quite new to me but I will see if I can search it later after my break online. Anyway, I am planning to wake-up before 9 am now to join the ladies on the TV doing some exercise. It is for free and they do it every morning. Hubby smiled as I told him about it. See you later guys. More updates in my other homes.

How I wish I have the millions they are talking below but sad to say, this is again another scam mail in the internet. Beware if you receive such kind of mails in the internet. It is not true and such kind of emails are fraudulent ones.

I almost forget what day we have today. I am just very busy both offline and online. I just remember that today is Wednesday when I saw the gadgets that I bought yesterday . We went yesterday to Neutraubling near Regensburg for hubby’s check-up. After his appointment we proceeded to the electronic store just in front of the clinic. I had a chance to window shop for custom laptops, SLR cameras, CD players and some other electronic stuffs. I saw a cheap tripod which is perfect for my new Canon 550D or T2I model. I also bought another micro SD card and card reader which are also on sale. Those are quite a very good buy and I am quite happy for it. I can shop some gadgets especially when it is on sale. Saving some bucks when shopping is a good thing especially for a jobless like me.What do you think guys?
