The World Wide Web Addict

Do you remember what day we are having right now? It is the last day of the month of August. It means that the BER months are coming soon. Tomorrow is also the first day of September. I can’t imagine how time flies-by so fast. It also means that Christmas time is coming soon. I wish I could make recycled Christmas cards to send to my family and friends. If not, I need to browse online to see some shops who are selling this kind of Christmas cards. I also remember that on the middle of September will be the birthday of our oldest sister. I am thinking of sending her a birthday card. I guess it is a good idea. I am taking a short break to prepare for dinner. Enjoy the rest of your day! I also wish everyone a wonderful BER months.

See how time pass-by so quickly? I can’t imagine that I have been using yahoo mail for ten years now. All I can say is, I am a happy and contented user of the free yahoo email service. It help me a lot especially in sending and receiving emails. I can also chat with my family and friends in any part of the world for free. Sometimes we don’t believe a certain thing unless we see or experience it. It happen a lot to me. Before our trip to Amsterdam the other week, hubby already told me that smoking marijuana is allowed in Amsterdam. Now, I believed him because we saw young people who are smoking marijuana in some corners of Amsterdam streets. For me, it is not really a good thing because I hate the smell of this drug. I also felt pity to these young people who are indulged in this activity. I believed an early non 12 step is advisable to them especially if they are already addicted to these kind of drugs. A new friend from Netherlands also told me that she don’t like to go all the time in Amsterdam because she also don’t like the smell of this drug. This city might only be good for sightseeing but to live there, there is such a no way for me.

Hello peeps! I guess you just read my title here. I am already backed home after a tour in Europe for around two weeks. Actually, the traveling I have with my friend is still not over. She still have some more days here in Europe and we are trying to see some cities in Germany before she will fly back to the United States this coming weekend. I have a lot of things to share from our tour including the shopping escapades that we made during our trip. I might include some images of prom dresses that I captured in Paris, France. I can’t wait to also share images from Rome, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, Paris, Brussels and some cities in Germany in my other travel blogs. For now, I already want to rest because I am quite exhausted for the trip that we had today. Goodnight folks! More updates next week.

I mentioned in my other blogs that a Filipino-American friend is visiting us here in Germany. We will be touring Europe starting today. Actually we already started making trips since last Monday. When she arrived last Sunday and went inside our house for the first time, she said that we seem to have an aircondition inside the house because it is quite cold. She don’t need heated mattress pads because she said that it is good to sleep when it is quite cold. She is quite enjoying her trip after seeing some places for two days. Today, we are flying to Rome and will also be visiting some other cities in Europe. More travel images to come soon in my travel blogs. Take care folks and see you next time!

I heard over the news this week about people who are having fun online. The news mentioned that without internet, computers and some social networking sites like facebook, their lives are not complete anymore. I believed it is the same with me. I even wish to have an atv to have more fun online. There are just a lot of things I want to do and experience. I am also thankful that through the free stuffs we can watch on the net, we can already have fun in the comfort of our home. Whether you want to hear and read the news around the world, watch movies online, listen to music or communicate with our family and friends around the world, everything is possible now through the power of computers and internet.

I had a problem last week with my computer. I cannot open more windows but can only open one. Everytime I opened yahoo.com, it says the following message below;

“us.data.toolbar.yahoo.com443 invalid security certificate .how can i fixed this? thank you.
I had the same problem and resetting the time and date in control panel solved it – for some reason the time had been set back to a date in 2005. I resync’d using the “windows sync” optin and all’s well again”

I noticed that the time and date of my computer is not updated. I don’t know what’s wrong but since I updated my firefox browser to 3.6 version last week this weird thing already happened. I tried to change the right date and time of my pc and bingo! I can already open another browser and the message above stopped popping-up already. My pc is back to normal again!

I just told hubby yesterday that we need to buy a new small cabinet or rack for our bathroom. The one that we have is quite old and dilapidated now. Hubby told me that we will buy new bathroom furniture when we will repair it next year. I love the yakima rack that I just saw online. I want to show it to hubby this weekend. There are still a lot of things to fix in our old home. At least, we have a place that we can call our own home. We also need new kitchen furniture. In fact the whole kitchen needs to be fixed also. Slowly by slowly, we are doing some house renovation. I am thankful that hubby knows everything from plumbing to masonry, car repair and maintenance and even doing all the household chores and cleaning. I am blessed to have a husband like him.

We are thankful that the weather is not so hot now compared to the past three weeks. Hubby is also happy because he is almost done with our windows. Actually, he had already installed all but he just need to do some cleaning and finishing especially the outside part of it. I am also hoping that we can get some wood blinds especially during this hot summer season. I heard a friend telling me that during the day, he needs to put down all the window blinds so that the heat of the sun will not penetrate and to have a cooler temperature inside his apartment. I also need remind hubby to start putting all the insect nets in the windows. Poor hubby! This summer is a hectic one for him. At least, we are slowly doing some renovation in our little home!

I received this email last July 20, 2010. I know that this is not really coming from LG Company but somebody out there who want to fool other people for their own interest. I already received a lot of emails like this telling you that you win in a lottery or a draw or raffle promos. Just a reminder, never ever entertain these kind of mails because it is a fraud.
