What am I really hoping? As you know guys, now is summer time in Europe. It is time to go swimming and wear bathing suit of any kinds. Per experience when we visit the swimming pool near our place, I always see people wearing swimming attires. Unlike in the country where I grew-up, we really don’t. A t’shirt and short are enough for us. Sometimes I envy those slim ladies wearing sexy swimsuits. I remember during my younger years, around 7 years ago when I was still a bit slim and also wear those stuffs. I guess it is time for me to read noxycut reviews on how to lose weight effectively. I am trying. I only eat around four spoons of rice and a little viand for dinner. Now I am having a headache..lol! How can I lose weight now? I am still hoping!

Sometimes, these kind of mails are very tiresome and irritating to read. In fact, I am not happy everytime I received these scam and fraudulent mails in my inbox. I am warning everyone not to believe to these kind of mails and related stories like this one below. These people are only fooling other people to benefit themselves and make money out of frauds. Here is a kind of scam mail that is proliferating in the internet. I received this one today.

I don’t wonder anymore when I received scam and spam mails in my inbox. I am very much aware that these kind of mails are not true. Last time, I guess last week I received a comment asking me what will happen if she gave all her personal information to scam mails like winning in the lottery. I am not really sure what will happen but I would say that some are victims of the so-called identity theft. What is this? It is when your personal information like name, birthday, phone number or even social security number like in the U.S. are being use in a fraudulent transaction. I heard some people who are victims of this scam, that some people are using their personal information to apply for credit cards. Some end up paying it even though they are not the one who are using the credit cards. For those who have identity theft insurances are lucky being freed from this kind of problem. I remember that my sister in the U.S. has this kind of insurance. I guess she also need to find fire insurance quotes for her the new house that she just bought this year.

We visited last month the Oldtimertreffen in Neumarkt Upper Palatinate, Bavaria, Germany. It is an Auto show where you can see a lot of old but historical and beautiful cars built some decades ago. It was a very interesting event seeing old cars during the 20th century. Off topic: Anybody who is looking for eye cream for dark circles out there? I am doing the same because I always stay late night and found out that I need one already. I guess it is better for us to browse online. I just noticed that it is past midnight again. I promise to make this post very short. I can’t also imagine that this is my number 1, 201 post in this blog. I had also written some thousands of posts in my other blogs. Imagine how many words and sentences did I already used in this blog and also in my other blogs? That is the result of blogging for some years now. In fact, I still have other blogs that I am developing right now. I am ready to distribute my wedding invitations. I mean my birthday party invitation for this year. Oh yeah, I made up my mind to make a party this year and all good friends and family members are all invited. It’s time to say goodnight!

I am thankful that my computer and two other laptops have anti-virus in it. Today, as I was checking my mails, the Anti-virus program popped-up on my screen telling that there are threats running on my PC. It is also telling me that 59 Tracking cookies are trying to attack my computer. What are tracking cookies? Can this be harmful to our pc’s? I will share next time what harm can tracking cookies do to our computers and personal data and information on pc’s as well. Here is a screenshot I made in it. Sorry this is in German language. I try to translate it below;

Hey folks! Here I am again for a short update. I don’t know if anybody out there has the same experience as I am about different scripts that are popping up on computer screens. I am not happy with this because sometimes it slowed down the processing of my pc. I am also not very sure if these scripts contain viruses or malwares which can harm our pc. Any idea out there from computer geeks? I would love to have to have a new Samsung HDTV before the Football games in Africa is over. Anyway below are the words and the script that pop-up sometimes in my pc screen.

It’s almost midnight again. I don’t have the desire to stay all the time in front of my computer because it is acting weird again. I mean it is processing very slow since Monday. I hope I can find out the reason why this is acting this way now. Anyway, I had a conversation last night with hubby. He said that he wants to go for early retirement. With the accident that he had last time, he said that he cannot work until 65 anymore. He might get a social security disability due to his accident if he wants to retire early. He is complaining of a lot of pains on his legs since that accident happened in 2007. The worst thing, until now the insurance company still did not pay him. I hope this will be resolve soon.

I was a bit scared yesterday after finding out that my computer had a Trojan Horse. I was running yesterday my weekly anti-virus scanning and found out that there is Trojan Horse in my computer. Isn’t it scary when your computer might crashed or your data and other personal information will be stolen by a certain person whom you do not know called the hacker? I am thankful that I have an anti-virus program in my pc. Tomorrow I will be installing another anti-virus program with firewall in it. I also wish to share next time what are the experiences I had before I discover this malware. I mean my experiences while using this computer before knowing that it is infected by this malware. Protect your computer with anti-virus before it is too late.

What is Trojan Horse?

“A Trojan, sometimes referred to as a Trojan horse, is non-self-replicating malware that appears to perform a desirable function for the user but instead facilitates unauthorized access to the user’s computer system. The term is derived from the Trojan Horse story in Greek mythology.

Trojan horses are designed to allow a hacker remote access to a target computer system. Once a Trojan horse has been installed on a target computer system, it is possible for a hacker to access it remotely and perform various operations. The operations that a hacker can perform are limited by user privileges on the target computer system and the design of the Trojan horse.

Purpose and operation

Operations that could be performed by a hacker on a target computer system include:

* Use of the machine as part of a botnet (i.e. to perform spamming or to perform Distributed Denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks)
* Data theft (e.g. passwords, credit card information, etc.)
* Installation of software (including other malware)
* Downloading or uploading of files
* Modification or deletion of files
* Keystroke logging
* Viewing the user’s screen
* Wasting computer storage space
* Crashing the computer

Trojan horses require interaction with a hacker to fulfill their purpose, though the hacker need not be the individual responsible for distributing the Trojan horse. In fact, it is possible for hackers to scan computers on a network using a port scanner in the hope of finding one with a Trojan horse installed, which the hacker can then use to control the target computer.

A trojan differs from a virus in that only a file specifically designed to carry it can do so.

This is not really a good experience of mine. We made a new cellphone contract here in Germany last April of this year. The cellphone which is Nokia model 5230 has a lot of applications in it and you can also go online with it because it has wap and internet services. It also has a digital camera. I was shocked last Wednesday as I found out that my cellphone bill reached 99.10 Euros. That was really very bad and I was really mad about it. I can already buy a lot of quicktrim for that money. I was trying to think what I have done why the bill reached to that amount when in fact I still never use it for calling or even texting since I have it. Now I remember! I really don’t go online surfing using the cellphone. Sometimes when I am playing with the touch screen, I accidentally touched some applications letting you go online but I never tried once going in the internet using the cellphone. Does it means that everytime you touch those applications, you are always charge with it even you were never online? I just found a lot of small amounts in my cellphone billing and it accumulates to almost a hundred Euro amount. The lesson I learned, never ever touch those application and go online with those cellphone because everytime you do that, you will be charge for it and it cost a lot of money. I am not so sure with other cellphone companies in the US or UK. Anyway, the telephone company we have in Germany is Talkine. I guess I will never use this cellphone until the end of its contract. lol!
