We received yesterday different catalogues from furniture stores, hardware, groceries, appliances and other stuffs that are usually on sale. I found some closets, drawers, book shelves and entertainment centers that are half the original price. It is really very cheap. I told dear hubby that we need to go to the furniture store tomorrow before everything will be sold-out. I just need a book shelf and a drawer to keep my stuffs in order. I am quite excited to buy it tomorrow. I hope we can still catch some items.

Another week is here again! I hope you are having a great one. As for me, I always try to have a relaxing and stress-free day. I can do whatever I want. I can stay the whole day in front of my computer when I want but sometimes there are just a lot of things to do at home. I will be sending some amount back home for some project but I just worry because Euro is not currently having a good exchange monetary value against Philippine Peso. It means that Phil. Peso is getting stronger then. US Dollar is also getting stronger against Euro. Here are the current exchange rate according to xe.com and Paypal. I am checking this from time to time for my personal information.

We live in an old house. So what do you expect but a lot of renovations. At least, we always have a house that we call our home. We don’t get wet when it rains. No heat is coming inside the house when the sun shines and most of all we are warm during the cold winter time. Last Saturday, we visited a hardware to look for a lot of things like windows, doors, bath tub, hot tub cover, sink, kitchen set and a lot more. We are just shopping where we can buy cheaper things for all we need during the renovation. HB already want to start the renovation probably in May when the weather is getting warmer. of course, I will be the assistant to help him. We will probably save thousand of Euros for the labor. It’s wordless day again! I go for semi-wordless here because I want to say a bit about the Landshut Wedding festival. It is a festival that is held every four years in Landshut in Bavaria, Germany. We are just done eating our dinner! I am striking online again! I am trying to count how many years I have been blogging already. Four, five or six years? But I take it seriously since I was jobless. In short, that is around four years now. I know that there are a lot of platforms where you can create your blog for free. One of those are blogspot, xanga, typepad, wordpress platform and many more to mention. I am happy to know that I just started with WordPress for my other blog. I heard a lot of stories that it is a very good platform. I am trying to update my blogs there from time to time. Sometimes I can’t upload it because I have problems with uploading pictures. Just last month, I found out that I can already upload images direct from my picture folder without doing a lot of steps like before. I just found out from Article Input that there is already a latest version of WordPress 2.6.

I am not really a computer geek but I am trying all the basic stuffs for me to learn. I believed that wordpress is getting great since I updated one of my blogs there. I already found it easy to use. In a few days, I might also try WP 2.6. I hope I can do it. The information posted at Article Input on setting up blogs on WordPress is also easy to understand. The first day of weekend is almost ending again. Tomorrow is officially the beginning of summer season in Germany. Our weather this weekend was forecasted to be cloudy and rainy. It truly rained with hails too. Back to my main topic. HB’s private life insurance is ending soon. During our conversation the other night, he is skeptic of getting a new private insurance because of the high cost and low benefit these days. I told him if we can find the cheapest insurance quote with maximum benefits, probably he is getting a new one. He is just skeptic of the current crisis that is happening around the world now. I told him that insurance like that is also a form of investment and can be used in times of emergency. I am still waiting for him to decide on this matter. As for me, I already got one which is not so expensive. At least, I have some investment when I get old..lol!

Driving in German Autobahn or highway can be scary and dangerous sometimes. Just today as we drove to Neutraubling, there are still a lot of drivers who are very driving very very fast despite speed limits. Good for you if you are not caught by Autobahn Polizei or Highway Patrols or else you might pay for fines and might lose your driving license.

I also watched last time a program in a German television wherein they featured Highway Patrols on action. One sprinter from Netherlands has too much weight inside his car plus 4 passengers. I can’t believed that these Highway Patrols has portable weighing scales with them to measure the weight of the cars or any vehicles. To make the story short, the driver from Netherlands ended paying some penalty for overweight. Some of his luggage were also left in a storage building because the police said that it is very dangerous for him to carry overweight luggage which are not allowed by law. It might also harm other drivers in the Autobahn if ever accident will happen. Be careful when driving in German highway because sometimes there are no speed limit there (as far as I know).
