This post will just serve as warning to all Facebook users. Last March 23, 2010, I received an email which says that I need to reset my password in Facebook. I really don’t believed in these kind of mails because I am already aware that these kind of mails are from hackers and spammers who just want to get your personal information and at the same time uses it for fraudulent transactions. The worst thing is when you lose something if you entertain these kind of mails. I made a screen shot of it below and also the exact words which are written in the message.

I am just giving you a warning on this. Never ever entertain this kind of mail. Immediately put it in your spam folder and delete it. Also, never give your personal information to anyone you don’t know like your real name, address, birthday, country, employer, job and any personal information that these hackers or spammers will use for their own vested interest.

This post serves only as warning to all Facebook users especially to all my friends. More example of scam or fraud mails like these will come soon. Please also try to browse the categories in my sidebar for more ideas about Spam and Scam mails that are proliferating right now in the internet. Don’t be confused with this because this is not really coming from the official Facebook site. The hackers and spammers are only using Facebook as a medium to fool people and get their personal information.

It’s TGIF now not emergency. Actually emergency is over now. But yes, I was put on emergency the other Thursday as I experienced pain on the lower right part of my ribs . There was some sort of emergency medical assistance given to me that time. I am thankful that I don’t need to pay for it because we have health insurance who pays for everything. The doctor made an ultrasound in my whole stomach. I thought I am having problem with Gallbladder stone but thanks God they don’t found anything. The problem is until now, I am still having some pain. I am going to another doctor next week for a second opinion. I hope it helps.

I guess some Facebook users are still not familiar on how to create an album in facebook. One friend already asked me how to do it. Payat this is especially for you. I would also say that facebook is truly fantastic. I always have fun seeing and conversing with old friends and acquaintances. and yes with new friends too. I am loving facebook.

Below are the steps on how to create an album in FB
1. Go to you Profile which is located on the upper right corner of FB screen. Of course you have to log-in first in FB.
2. Click Photo which is located near your Wall and Info. It is located at the center of Info and + sign near your profile picture.
3. Now you see the + Create A Photo Album near the Create an Ad on the right side of FB screen.
4. Now you are ready to put the Album Name, Location and Description of your album. Have fun browsing your picture folder.

I read some not so good comments from a friend’s facebook account. He said that his domain got expired and somebody already renewed it. The worst thing, the new owner post everything about viagra. I tell you guys, I am not really an expert about web hosting and domains. I blog in my own websites with its own domain names but I still don’t have enough knowledge on it. My friend also said that he was not informed of the expiry of his domain. I guess that is quite unusual. As far as I know, a web hosting company will inform you through email or telephone 30 days in advance for the renewal of your domain. I don’t exactly know what happened to my friend’s domain name.

The other weekend, I had a chat with a friend in Shanghai, China through yahoo messenger. We talked about her work there and some personal topics. I also asked her how is the living in Shanghai, China. She told me that she loves Shanghai and she is doing good over there. Her employer are also good. I asked her if she has a facebook account. I was greatly surprised when she told me that Google.com and Facebook are banned in China. I remember what she told as I read the daily German newspaper, Neumarkter Tagblatt this morning. One article today also mentioned that China don’t only banned Google but Twitter, Youtube, Flickr, Technorati and other websites. I want to research later what are the inaccessible websites in China. if I am not mistaken these sites are not blocked in Hongkong and Macau where they have their own legal system. This is quite interesting. More updates to come about this.

I am not really an expert on computer hardware and software. I just know a little from it. I know how to open my computer and I know how to shut it down. My problem is, I don’t know how to make it load faster because I just notice that the past months, it has been processing so slow. I am still using my old PC in spite buying a new netbook last year. I still love my old and antique one. Hopefully next month the other laptop will be fixed already. I guess I just need to bear with my old one until I get the PC that I really like. This was forwarded by a friend in my inbox. I decided to post it here as reminder and warning to everyone who might happen to read this post. Some might take the same opportunity if you give them a chance. You might lost all your fortune then. We always see to it that our GPS is always hidden when we got out of the car. We also don’t put any information like hubby, mama, papa or any family related names on our cellphones. Don’t let these kind of people rob you. Keep reading and be informed. Here is the story;

GPS
A couple of weeks ago a friend told me that someone she knew had their car broken into while they were at a football game. Their car was parked on the green which was adjacent to the football stadium and specially allotted to football fans. Things stolen from the car included a garage door remote control, some money and a GPS which had been prominently mounted on the dashboard.

When the victims got home, they found that their house had been ransacked and just about everything worth anything had been stolen.

The thieves had used the GPS to guide them to the house. They then used the garage remote control to open the garage door and gain entry to the house. The thieves knew the owners were at the football game, they knew what time the game was scheduled to finish and so they knew how much time they had to clean out the house. It would appear that they had brought a truck to empty the house of its contents.

Something to consider if you have a GPS – don’t put your home address in it. Put a nearby address (like a store or gas station) so you can still find your way home if you need to, but no one else would know where you live if your GPS were stolen.

MOBILE PHONES
I never thought of this……..

This lady has now changed her habit of how she lists her names on her mobile phone after her handbag was stolen. Her handbag, which contained her cell phone, credit card, wallet… Etc…was stolen.

20 minutes later when she called her hubby, from a pay phone telling him what had happened, hubby says ‘I received your text asking about our Pin number and I’ve replied a little while ago.’

When they rushed down to the bank, the bank staff told them all the money was already withdrawn. The thief had actually used the stolen cell phone to text ‘hubby’ in the contact list and got hold of the pin number. Within 20 minutes he had withdrawn all the money from their bank account.

Moral of the lesson:
Do not disclose the relationship between you and the people in your contact list.

Avoid using names like Home, Honey, Hubby, Sweetheart, Dad, Mom, etc….

And very importantly, when sensitive info is being asked through texts, CONFIRM by calling back..

Also, when you’re being text by friends or family to meet them somewhere, be sure to call back to confirm that the message came from them. If you don’t reach them, be very careful about going places to meet ‘family and friends’ who text you.

Imagine 827 spam mails in my spam inbox right now. Some are not being filtered and go directly to my inbox. Sometimes it is very annoying receiving those unwanted and scam mails everyday. I thought I won’t receive anymore these kind of mails. This month I inbox is being attacked by scammers and spammers again. I am not really happy because instead of reading my important mails, I ended up taking time to delete these mails or putting them in spam folder. Again peeps, I am warning you again with these kind of mails. I don’t have time to surf anymore on different sites like www.proteinpowder.net because these spammers are taking away my precious time.

Again people out there, beware with these this kind of mails. I guess I already reminded you a thousand time..wink! Here are some of those spam/ scam mails again. I am happy that I did not spent the whole winter time in Germany. I had a 3 months long vacation in warm Philippines. I always hear over the radio that this winter season is quite a very expensive one especially for the government. Long and very cold winter also means more personnel to clean the streets and more salt and pebbles for keeping the street clean. It is also expensive for us because we need to turn on our heater higher and let it run all day and night. I guess some people don’t have extra budget to buy for multivitamin supplements to help them keep their resistance to sicknesses like cough and colds which are common to attack especially during cold weather. We are hoping that we don’t spend too much money for power and electric this year. I am happy that spring time is almost here! I am quite excited!

I remembered the winter protest of Antenne Bayern, a radio program here in Germany. They have an employee who was walking for around 100 kilometers since last week to protest for the long winter and hoping for spring time to come soon. I am not sure now if the walking protest is finished. I am also bidding goodbye to winter because we had a warm temperature today. Thanks goodness!
