The weather outside seems to be perfect for going around which we will do later in the afternoon. A good friend is having a barbeque party and we will be driving there. How did Velcro come about?

In the early 1940s, Swiss inventor George de Mestral went on a walk with his dog. Upon returning home, he noticed that his dog’s coat and his pants were covered with cockleburrs. His inventor’s curiosity led him to study the burrs under a microscope, where he discovered its natural hook-like shape. This was to become the basis for a unique, two-sided fastener: one side with stiff “hooks” like the burrs and the other side with the soft “loops” like the fabric of his pants. The result was VELCRO® brand hook and loop fasteners, named for the French words “velour” and “crochet.”

Who came up with Beatlemania?

Sandy Gardiner, an Ottawa, Ontario journalist, coined the phrase ‘Beatlemania’ to describe the frenzy created by the 1960s British rock group. He came up with the term while covering The Beatles during a trip to Liverpool in the Fab Four’s early days.

Who put the fruit into yogurt?

Juan Metzger, a former Dannon Co. executive, is credited with putting fruit in yogurt. Metzger was recognized for suggesting the addition of fruit at the bottom of containers of the dairy product to improve its taste. The first flavor was strawberry. Metzger’s father, Joe, co-founded Dannon Co. in the Bronx in 1942.

It’s midnight again! I just need to share this before I sign-off for tonight. A friend called me this morning telling me of a laptop that she bought this week. I planned to buy a new one beginning of this year. I will visit her next week and will look if the laptop she told me is already a good one. I know that brand is very good. In fact my first digital camera in 2005 was made of that brand and it is still working until now. I am done with cameras this year. I got three already. I am also planning to buy a digital frame but I am looking for the cheapest one online. I guess I know where to get it. I’ll let you know guys once I have my new laptop next week! It is still spring time and the surroundings are still full of flowers that start to fully bloom since last month. Some flowers are still there, some are slowly gone and some are still starting to bloom like the roses in our garden. Since summer time is fast approaching, I am already starting to check my three closets for summer clothes. I just found out that a lot of my clothes are getting smaller for me now. This is not really a good news guys. I am not happy for it because it means that I have to go shopping for new clothes again. The other alternative is for me to take away those excess weight that I gained last winter time. Or probably a Lipovox can be another alternative. I am not really into taking diet pills but if I have no other choice, I might go for it. Another alternative for me is to stop cooking and eating..I guess that is also very difficult because just right now, I am starving already and need to eat my lunch! Ok guys, whatever things that works for me I can try it! have a great day to all!

Wow, it’s TGIF again! I hope you all guys are having a good time especially this coming weekend. For sure, we will have fun! We might go for a day-out again tomorrow. Back to the main topic..I don’t know if some people experience yahoo’s down time last Wednesday. I was trying to open my yahoo mails but it won’t let me see my inbox. I can sign-in but can’t open my inbox. Did you have the same problem guys? Everytime I open my mails, these are the messages that always appear on the screen.

It is working now since last Wednesday night. I can already view my messages. I guess Yahoo is only having some sort of system maintenance just like other websites do. If you have the same problem guys, just wait in some minutes or hours and for sure it going back to normal again. Don’t panic! It’s not good for our health! Enjoy your TGIF!

I almost panic today because of what had happened to my blogs this morning. That is true! Just read my previous post here about it. But I tell you guys, someone got crazy today because he cannot figure out his laptop. My husband was installing the Windows XP software to his HP Pavilion laptop this morning but it won’t go through. He don’t want to have a Windows Vista for it because he heard negative things from people about it. The process of installation did not go through because the laptop says that there is something wrong with the hard drive. He tried to search it in the internet and found related problems about it. I told him that if he will order parts or let it repair and if it is very expensive, I better find laptops or netbooks online which are good ones and are also reasonable in price. What do you think guys?

Last weekend was very interesting because we went to an Auto show in Regensburg, Germany. For me the most interesting part was when I saw the different old cars that were displayed by the owners during the Auto shows. New cars are also for sale by different auto dealers. See how small this car is? Do you want to drive it? I can try!

I am finally back in my virtual world. After some appointments this afternoon and after watching a good movie and tv show tonight, I can already give you a follow-up of what happened this morning. In short, the lay-outs especially the headers of some of my blogs that were invisible this morning was finally resolved. It means that they are back to normal now. Since most of the images in my blogs are hosted by photobucket and I believed that photobucket had a down time this morning was the reason why it happened. Or probably since I was cleaning my pc last night and deleted all the cookies in my computer was also the problem why I cannot have access in my photobucket account. In other words, since the cookie from photobucket was deleted in my pc, was also the reason why I don’t have connection with photobucket. The other reason might be because of the firewall that is installed in my pc. The most important thing is that, everything were fine now and I am happy. I guess I better find now an Outer Banks to find a great place to stay during a vacation this summer. Have a great evening to all!

What’s happening to my blogs now? Why I can’t see the images on the header of some of my blogs? I also can’t find a lot of images on my sidebar? Anyone can tell me? Anyway, I know that most images on my blogs are hosted by Photobucket. Just now, I was trying to sign-in in my account but I don’t see anymore my pictures and albums in my accocunt. Did Photobucket disabled my account??. I have no idea?? I hope this will be fix soon..This is a catastrophe for my other blogs….Oh well, i’ll see what’s going on till the end of the day!

It is annoying how my computer process so slow tonight. I thought my husband’s laptop will already work because the accessories we ordered already came in today. I even got excited as I use it but I guess it has some hardware problems. Anyway, I will be talking about tee shirts tonight and where you can find nice ones in the net. I don’t know if a friend of mine already have UFC t-shirts because they will be watching the UFC fight next month in Cologne, Germany. It sounds exciting watching it!
