We are planning buy a new freezer this year. We have a chest type freezer. This type of freezer opens from the top, which means that cold air is retained well, due to the fact that cold air falls downwards rather than upwards. Therefore this machine is cheaper to run, as less cold air is lost when the freezer door is opened.

It is still working good but since it is an old one, it consumes a lot of power. We are planning to buy a new one with a highest efficiency grade (A+ or A++) to conserve energy and power consumption. Hopefully before the end of the second quarter this year, we can have a new and better one. It also need a replacement because the lower part is already rusting due to water catastrophe last time. Our water pipe inside the house exploded which caused the rusting of some of our appliances and furniture.

How was you weekend guys? I had a great one. I just stayed at home last Saturday and did some household chores. Sunday, I had a great lunch buffet with friends in a Chinese Restaurant in a nearby city. That was a good restaurant and I guess the best among the rest . After that I went to a friend’s house to print some application forms. I was amazed by the computer of my friend’s husband. She said that it was a customized computer and cost a lot of money. I was happy about my friend who had her Christmas wish being granted. It was a Blackberry phone..She was very happy last Christmas as she told me about it. I am back! How was your Saturday? It is around 9PM now in my country. I had a great afternoon with my husband. Actually I just finished relaxing inside the bath tub for almost one hour. Now I am feeling very fresh and ready for sharing some post again. I have to oust my husband in the pc after he ordered some battery for his laptop which is not working due to battery problems maybe. I am just curious about this site’s Alexa traffic update as of today. I guess I need to do this from time to time so that I will know the status of my sites. As you know Alexa is a subsidiary company of Amazon which is famous for operating website that provides web traffic information to other websites. I admire the people who are behind this company..real intelligent ones!!

As of this day, the Alexa traffic ranking of this site went down from 253,063 to 264,647. If you have high numbers in Alexa, it simply means that your site has a lower traffic ranking. From Alexa’s statistics, I found out that most of my visitors came from Germany followed by United States, Philippines and the rest of the world. This happened in 2007. I was just surprised one day when a DHL guy delivered three huge boxes of gaming PC set. It was named under my husband. I told the delivery man that we did not order these items. In fact my husband don’t really order things like that unless I do it. Oh yeah, I am the one who always order stuffs. My husband is not really a computer geek. I told the delivery guy that I will not accept it because we really did not ordered one. But the guy said that it is already paid-off. I was really surprised about it. I have no choice but to accept it because the boxes were already inside the house. Later, I knew the whole story as my husband arrived from work. It was another person in the house who ordered it and put it in my husband’s name. This person really loves to play computer games that he ordered that gaming PC set. I got interested with the tech news I just read from Yahoo. As we all know a lot of American soldiers are being deployed in all parts of the world like Germany, Italy, Belgium, Korea, Afghanistan, Georgia in Russia, Iraq and some other countries. With the news that I just read from yahoo technews, it is said that the U.S. Army is wooing Americans with video games and Google maps to make it sure that it has enough manpower to fight wars especially in Iraq and Afghanistan. Do you think it is the best way to recruit people to join the army?

I live near the American post here in Germany and knew some soldiers who already get addicted (I guess) to this video games. What would think if a person plays video games from the time he wakes-up till the whole day, or even the whole evening. Having fun by playing is a great one but getting addicted to it is another thing. What do you think guys? Just read the full story in this site..I guess it is quite interesting..

I also received a comment last night in one of my sites about the war between The Hamas and Israel in Gaza. I even watched it in TV last night. The horror, death and emotional effects that it brings to people there are really indescribably.. It is really an act of terror…Please let us pray that the wars around the world will be stopped soon. I live near the American Post here in Europe. In fact, I also worked as Retail Supervisor before in Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) for almost three years. It was a great experience serving those “who serve”. You might probably know what I am referring to here. This refers to American soldiers whom we give services. I believed being a soldier, policeman or any military job is not an easy task. It is a tough job in one way or another. In fact it entails a lot of duties and responsibilities to their country and countrymen. For this reason, they really need great products to do it well.

As an AAFES employee before, our mission is to provide quality good ans services to customers with competitively low prices. In fact during my service at AAFES before , I was awarded “Team Award” twice. It is really a great honor. We went to Parsberg today because my husband have to go to the doctor for some medicines he needed. After that, we went to one of the grocery store who have special products every week. This week they sell some winter shoes. I guess I am too late because only two were left and it won’t fit me. After my husband’s doctor appointment, we proceeded to the the drug store and bought the medicine. A damage of almost 30 Euros. As we went to the other shop to buy some bath towel, I found some pens again. I told myself last time that I don’t need to buy pens anymore. Oh well, it won’t get bad even for some years anyway. besides I can also send it home for my niece and nephews who go to school. Some shopping again but not too much. You know why? because I promise myself to be thrifty this time and save some money for vacation back home. yes I will…If I say so, I will really try my best to get it!!
