How are you guys? It is “TGIF” again. Thanks God It’s Friday. But I hope we thank God not only during Friday but all days in our lives. I am back again today. I finally gained this afternoon my composure in blogging. I hope I can give you more updates in my other sites. Life was just so busy the past days especially during the Holiday season, Christmas and New Year. Hopefully the coming days, I can give you more updates. For now, I want to give you an update about Area Rugs.

Last Sunday, an old friend of ours finally visited us. She has not visited us for quite some years already. We see each other sometimes but not all the times. She took her dinner in our house last Sunday. After eating dinner we went to our living room and she noticed the new Rugs we have. Unfortunately as we were drinking some cola she accidentally touched her glass and the liquid spilled in the new carpet. Some parts were totally wet. Not really that bad because it dried off after some days. That was the first time that she also noticed my porcelain and ceramic collections. I guess she had a great time spending some hours in our home. We had fun after singing the “Magic Sing”. That was a great evening I guess.

Actually I was also looking for Cheap Rugs for our two rooms upstairs. The other one had wooden floor and feels so cold especially during this winter season and really needs some good ones. The smaller room also need a new one because, it looks very old already. I have no idea how old it is but I know that it really needs a replacement. I found some very nice and affordable ones at Superior Rugs. Whatever styles, colors, size and designs you want, they have it all. I love the modern style of Beverly Hills Hila 1052terra. I have to mention this to my husband first. I believed our rooms will look better and presentable with this modern styles. Enjoy the coming weekend guys!! take care!!

I already noticed at the end of December 2008, this site has decrease its Google Pagerank. From Google pagerank 4 in April to Google PR3 in July and now PR2. Until now I still don’t understand how Google really computes pagerank. I know that it is base on some kind of Algorithm that they have but still can’t fully understand it.

I just wonder why some other blogs who only have five posts gained PR4. I just visited one site some minutes ago and was really surprised that it has such a high PR. I even visited some months ago a site who has one post and have PR4..interesting but confusing how Google pagerank is really computed…any ideas out there??

In short, this site has PR2 now. At least I still have some and still happy about it..

I went with my sister shopping in Las Vegas. This happened last year as I went to the US for a two months vacation..I miss that place especially Vegas. Hello Vegas, I truly miss you!! Shopping in Las Vegas is really fabulous and exciting! well if you have a lot of money. But anyway, I was just amazed how many shopping cards she has. One membership card, I remember was in a hotel where we had a buffet dinner. You cannot enter in the buffet room if you are not a member. She also have cards for Walmart, Victoria Secret, Cosco and some other shopping cards. Beside that you can also earn points, you can also have sometimes great deals and promotions if you are a member!! isn’t shopping more interesting!! I hope to be backed in Las Vegas next time. I know for sure but I just don’t know the exact time! I always need my card if I go shopping in Real Supermarkt to earn bonus points..not bad at all!!

Computer program analyzes brain activity

PITTSBURGH (UPI) — A computer program developed at a Pittsburgh university can offer limited insights into one’s thoughts by analyzing brain activation patterns, researchers say.

Carnegie Mellon University computer science Professor Tom Mitchell , who is working on the computer algorithm project, said by analyzing an individual’s brain activity, the program can make very accurate guesses at which word of a selected pair a person is thinking about, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported Sunday. It can hit correctly up to 90 percent of the time compared with a simple 50-50 guess, the newspaper said.

“Even though we’re obviously very different and have had different experiences, so that when you think of a Ford Edsel you probably think of something different than what I think of, ” the researcher said, “nevertheless, we’re similar enough that these (computer) programs can tell us quite a bit about what we’re thinking.”

Psychologist Marcel Just, who is also working on the project, told the newspaper the program’s use of magnetic resonance imaging to make educated guesses would likely lead to additional thought-recognition efforts in the future.

“Fifty years from now,” Just said, “I think it’ll be plausible that we’ll be able to identify people’s thoughts with less cumbersome equipment than an MRI scanner, just the way we identify a person’s speech today.”

Dream come true!! I thought it is only in my dream that I can visit London..but see I was finally there. Seeing one of the most interesting cities in the world like London is such a great experience for me!! I truly treasure this experience. Hi Folks! What’s up? I am just a little lazy to do some blogging for the past days. I should have a lot of things to share here but my mind is not functioning well for writing ideas and thoughts. I just feel so tired. I just don’t know if this is the cold weather here in my place that affects me. At least I did today something in the house like cleaning. I updated some blogs but not all. My sharing for today is all about the most important element in our lives called H2O or water.

Can you imagine a day without water? Can you imagine cooking without water? Or can you imagine after eating without drinking water or any liquid like coke, juice or anything else? Can you simply imagine life without water? As we all know, water is the most essential substance in order for a life to exist. It simply means that “No water, No Life”. But do you know that water can be dangerous and can damage your property or your health. Take a look for the example the flood that is happening to the different parts of the globe. Do you know how many people were killed and properties were destroyed when a flood or a tsunami comes? Water Damage can also be very dangerous to our health. Sometimes, I just don’t know what’s happening to my keyboard. There are some German characters that are appearing in it. My keyboard is an American English one but I don’t know why German alphabets are appearing sometimes. It is weird also because when I type Y, letter Z is appearing on my screen…Is it because some of my software and programs are in German?..not so sure..any idea out there?? have a great day!!

I am really feeling tired today. I guess this is also the very cold weather here in Europe. I called my family back home and have some conversation with my father, brothers and sisters..I was feeling more tired and sad after my father told me a bad news. I guess sometimes life is like that. We don’t have always happy moments. I felt bad after my father told me that my beloved dog named Peewee is dead. She was my first dog whom I took care since she was a baby. She was around 9 years old as her life was taken due to some sickness. I thought I can see all of my dogs when I go home this year but Peewee is already gone. Imagine that feeling when you lose your love ones. I only lost my dog but I already felt so bad. I understand how John Travolta felt now as he lose his only 16 years old son. Back to the conversation with my father. He told me that my brother needs some kind of bearings for his bike. I told them to find one so that they can use the bike I bought for my youngest brother. I will surely miss you Peewee. I’m coming home soon!!take care guys and see you again tomorrow..Don’t forget to enjoy your weekend!!
