What Ruby Means

You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You’re always up to something.

You have a ton of energy, and most people can’t handle you. You’re very intense.

You definitely are a handful, and you’re likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun.
You are a very lucky person. Things just always seem to go your way.
And because you’re so lucky, you don’t really have a lot of worries. You just hope for the best in life.
You’re sometimes a little guilty of being greedy. Spread your luck around a little to people who need it.
You are full of energy. You are spirited and boisterous.
You are bold and daring. You are willing to do some pretty outrageous things.
Your high energy sometimes gets you in trouble. You can have a pretty bad temper at times.

You are a free spirit, and you resent anyone who tries to fence you in.
You are unpredictable, adventurous, and always a little surprising.
You may miss out by not settling down, but you’re too busy having fun to care.

Thanks a Million!!

I would to extend my deepest gratitude to all my friends, visitors, readers and co- bloggers who always visit me here. I will attend to all of you soon when I get back my power again!! Today’s Word “heterodox”

heterodox HET-uh-ruh-doks (adjective) – 1 : Contrary to or differing from some acknowledged standard, especially in church doctrine or dogma; unorthodox. 2 : Holding unorthodox opinions or doctrines.

“Already I was considered heterodox if not treasonable, and I was keenly alive to the danger of my position; nevertheless I could not at times refrain from bursting out into suspicious or half-seditious utterances, even among the highest Polygonal or Circular society.” — Edwin Abbott Abbott, ‘Flatland’

Heterodox comes from Greek heterodoxos, “of another opinion,” from hetero-, “other” + doxa, “opinion,” from dokein, “to believe.”

Disappointing Crazy Weather in Germany!!

Easter is over so I thought the weather will be better again!! I already posted some happenings this morning in Simply The Best….I just get ready to go for grocery shopping. Cleaned my car and stopped at the bank to pick up some money. It was already snowing this morning but still decided to go because I just need to buy the battery charger and chargeable batteries in Aldi, a famous discount store here in Germany. They only have this items once or twice in a year in a very cheap price. I got one already but I sent it in my box to the Philippines last Saturday because I also sent my old HP camera.

Battery charger and chargeable batteries are also very expensive in the Philippines as I had a vacation there back in 2006. Aldi have sometimes items that are seasonal and it is really very cheap compared to other stores.. I also proven it to be durable…

As I drive around 3 kilometers away, I decided to turn around because the snow was really getting very hard.. It is 50 meters visibility.. It means I can’t see the street any more because of too much snow falling down. well got some photos down for you to see the weather.

I was just very sad but maybe it is better to stay at home than having an accident!!! right guys???? I already got one last year.. also during snow time..well somebody hit the back of my car because of slippery snow in the street.. I hope there are still battery charger and rechargeable batteries in Aldi as I always need it in my cameras.

What just a crazy weather we have now!!! sunshine…snow…rain….snow…sunshine..snow..snow..sunshine..rain…snow!!!!! great!!! What else are you looking for!!!

my car before I drive..have to clean it first!!

the street where I stopped and took some fotos
you might wonder where is the picture here..
this is what i’m talking 50 meters visibility..
can’t see the street anymore so I drove back home before I get accident

striked a pose in our garden after I shovelled our walking way!! great job!!

this is the weather..look at the street!!! do you want to drive here???

HTML Editor

I was just curious what really HTML Code means. I am already using these codes but never understand its true meaning. I got this one from my favorite Wikipedia

An HTML editor is a software application for creating web pages. Although the HTML markup of a web page can be written with any text editor, specialized HTML editors can offer convenience and added functionality. For example, many HTML editors work not only with HTML, but also with related technologies such as CSS, XML and JavaScript or ECMAScript. In some cases they also manage communication with remote web servers via FTP and WebDAV, and version management systems such as CVS or Subversion.

There are various forms of HTML editors: text, object and WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editors.

HTML editor

Text (source) editors intended for use with HTML usually provide syntax highlighting. Templates, toolbars and keyboard shortcuts may quickly insert common HTML elements and structures. Wizards, tooltip prompts and auto-completion may help with common tasks.

Text HTML editors commonly include either built-in functions or integration with external tools for such tasks as source and version control, link-checking, code checking and validation, code cleanup and formatting, spell-checking, uploading by FTP or WebDAV, and structuring as a project.

Text editors require user understanding of HTML and any other web technologies the designer wishes to use like CSS, JavaScript and server-side scripting languages.

Object editors

Some editors allow alternate editing of the source text of objects in more visually organized modes than simple color highlighting, but in modes not considered WYSIWYG. Some WYSIWYG editors include the option of using palette windows that enable editing the text-based parameters of selected objects. These palettes allow either editing parameters in fields for each individual parameter, or text windows to edit the full group of source text for the selected object. They may include widgets to present and select options when editing parameters. Adobe GoLive provides an outline editor to expand and collapse HTML objects and properties, edit parameters, and view graphics attached to the expanded objects.

WYSIWYG HTML editors

WYSIWYG HTML editors provide an editing interface which resembles how the page will be displayed in a web browser. Some editors, such as ones in the form of browser extensions allow editing within a web browser. Because using a WYSIWYG editor does not require any HTML knowledge, they are easier for an average computer user to get started with.

The WYSIWYG view is achieved by embedding a layout engine based upon that used in a web browser. The layout engine will have been considerably enhanced by the editor’s developers to allow for typing, pasting, deleting and moving the content. The goal is that, at all times during editing, the rendered result should represent what will be seen later in a typical web browser.

While WYSIWYG editors make web design faster and easier; many professionals still use text editors, despite the fact that most WYSIWYG editors have a mode to edit HTML code by hand. The web was not originally designed to be a visual medium, and attempts to give authors more layout control, such as css, have been poorly supported by major web browsers. Because of this, code automatically generated by WYSIWYG editors frequently sacrifice file size and compatibility with fringe browsers, to create a design that looks the same for widely used desktop web browsers. This automatically generated code may be edited and corrected by hand.

WYSIWYM editors

What You See Is What You Mean (WYSIWYM) is an alternative paradigm to the WYSIWYG editors above. Instead of focusing on the format or presentation of the document, it preserves the intended meaning of each element. For example, page headers, sections, paragraphs, etc. are labeled as such in the editing program, and displayed appropriately in the browser.

On Easter Sunday, Christians celebrate the resurrection of the Lord, Jesus Christ. It is typically the most well-attended Sunday service of the year for Christian churches.

Christians believe according to Scripture, that Jesus came back to life, or was raised from the dead, three days after his death on the cross. As part of the Easter season, the death of Jesus Christ by crucifixion, is commemorated on Good Friday, always the Friday just before Easter. Through his death, burial and resurrection, Jesus paid the penalty for sin, thus purchasing for all who believe in him, eternal life in Christ Jesus.

Black Saturday

Names

Holy Saturday is sometimes called Easter Eve or Easter Even, especially by Anglicans, Low Saturday. In the Philippines this day bears the name Black Saturday or Sábado de Gloria, the former probably because of black being the colour of mourning (for the deceased Christ) or the “darkness” caused by His “absence” and the latter name due to the Gloria being sung for the first time since Ash Wednesday. On the other hand, in the Czech Republic and Slovakia it is called White Saturday, probably because of white garments of the newly baptized. In Dutch it is known as Silent Saturday (Stille Zaterdag). Holy Saturday is also often incorrectly called Easter Saturday, a term that properly refers to the following Saturday.

Western practice

In Roman Catholic Churches, the sanctuary is stripped completely bare while the administration of the sacraments is severely limited. Holy Communion is given only as Viaticum. All Masses are strictly prohibited. No Mass at all appears in the liturgy for this day. Many of the churches of the Anglican Communion observe most of the same traditions, however their altars are usually stripped or colored in black. See Liturgical colors.

In some Anglican churches, including the Episcopal Church in the United States, provision is made for a simple liturgy of the word on this day, with readings commemorating the burial of Christ.

Liturgically speaking, Holy Saturday lasts until dusk, after which the Easter Vigil is celebrated, marking the official start of the Easter season. In Roman Catholic observance, during the “Gloria” of the Mass (which is the first Mass since that of Holy Thursday), the church statues and icons, in places where they are covered with purple veils during Passiontide, are dramatically unveiled.

Eastern practice

In Eastern Orthodoxy this day, known as Holy and Great Saturday, is also called The Great Sabbath since it is on this day that Christ “rested” physically in the tomb. But it is also believed that it was on this day he performed in spirit the Harrowing of Hell and raised up to Paradise those held captive there. Therefore, at the main liturgical celebration, a vesperal Divine Liturgy of St. Basil the Great, the hangings, altar cloths, and vestments are changed from black to white prior to the Gospel reading, and in the Greek tradition the clergy strew laurel leaves and flower petals all over the church to symbolize the shattered gates and broken chains of hell.

Great Lent was originally the period of catechesis for new converts in order to prepare them for baptism and chrismation on Pascha (Easter). Prior to the composition of the current Paschal Vigil by St. John of Damascus[citation needed] this day’s vesperal Liturgy was the main Easter celebration, and the traditional time to receive converts is still after the Vesperal Liturgy. adapted from Wikipedia
